On April 6, 2006 a workshop on Canadian institutional management models in vocational education was held at the Kyiv Anton Makarenko Professional Pedagogical College. The workshop was aimed at acquainting key national and regional project partners and stakeholders with Canadian vocational training management models and discussing opportunities for their adaptation to Ukrainian environment as well as possible challenges.

The workshop was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, State Employment Centre, regional departments of education, and the six pilot vocational schools.
