November 14 – 15, 2007 a workshop on program efficiency and graduate tracer studies was held for vocational schools’ administration, regional departments of education, the Ministry of Education and Science, and the Ukrainian project experts (about 23 participants) in the premises of Kyiv vocational pedagogical A. Makarenko college. The workshop was delivered by Grant MacTavish, SIAST expert on labour market analysis.

The purpose of the workshop was to share the best methodologies and approaches to graduate tracer studies and program efficiency studies. The knowledge that the participants gained from the workshop helped them to better understand graduate tracer studies methodology, including the surveys held right after the graduation as well as those after a certain period of time in order to confirm program-related employment. The participants also started to develop their own strategies for graduate tracer studies in vocational schools.
