A two-day workshop on labour market analysis and forecasting was held by Canadian experts from SIAST, Gertrude McGartland and Bronwyn South, in Dnipropetrovsk on September 19–20.

The workshop’s purpose was to familiarize representatives from the State and Regional  Employment Centres from the pilot regions (over 30 participants) with methodologies and approaches to labour market monitoring and forecasting that are used in Canada, as well as to assist in developing and improving the existing labour market forecasting and analysis methodologies. During the workshop Ukrainian and Canadian experts started to develop a pilot labour market survey in Dnipropetrovsk region.
