Study tour to Slovakia (Kosice), which was delivered during January 21- 28, has been finished. The study tour was aimed at acquainting the participants with Slovak vocational education system and getting them a better understanding of modern educational management approaches and the skills training system for labour market needs in a transition environment similar to Ukrainian. The participants were representatives of mid – level managers of Regional Employment Centres and Departments of Education and senior management of vocational training institutions.

According to the program organized by local project partner in Kosice, Carpathian Development Institute, which is currently implementing a similar project in the vocational education system, participants had an opportunity to meet their colleagues during presentations from Educational Department and Labour Government, and visit several vocational schools in Kosice, Spisska Nova Ves and Stara Lubovna.
