On December 4, 2006 the workshop on establishing vocational schools institutional advisory boards was delivered at Dnipropetrovsk training – production centre #2 .

The workshop was attended by representatives of the pilot schools and Regional Employment Centre.

During the workshop, the concept of school advisory boards and their role in school operations, community connections, and labour market linkages were introduced. The vocational schools representatives were acquainted with the different models of school advisory boards, and the workshop gave them an understanding of the importance of improved and institutionalized community connections in school management.
