On November 13 -14, 2006 at Dnipropetrovsk training – production centre #2 the workshop on adult training and equity education was delivered by Canadian experts (Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology and Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) and their Ukrainian counterparts (Central Institute for Post-graduate Pedagogical Education).

The workshop participants were representatives of Regional Employment Centres, Training-Methodological Centres for Vocational Education, vocational schools, and non-governmental organizations (total of approximately 25 people).

The workshop was aimed at acquainting participants with the principles of adult training and student centered training, the adaptation of methodologies to the training process in technical and skills areas and also with the problems of equity education for special needs groups.
