A curriculum validation workshop for the cooking program was held on May 17 at Uzhgorod Higher Vocational School for Trade and Food Technology.

The workshop was attended by a number of employer representatives, instructors in the pilot program area (cooking) and Canadian specialists.

This meeting was aimed at reviewing the draft program profile that was prepared jointly by the Canadian and Ukrainian specialists and bringing it as close as possible to the real needs of Zakarpattya employers.  It is anticipated that graduates of programs that are developed with active involvement of employers will have the knowledge and skills that the industry needs most .

During the next weeks, a final version of the program profile which will include comments and proposals from the employers will be developed by the Ukrainian and Canadian experts.
